Technical Rescue Team

The Livingston County Technical Rescue Team (LCTRT) is made up of firefighters from five different fire departments throughout Livingston County and paramedics from Livingston County EMS (LCEMS). The Howell Area Fire Department (HAFD) has seven members on the LCTRT. The team responds to rope rescue, trench rescue, structural collapse, confined space, machine rescue and heavy truck stabilization in the county and beyond. The HAFD also houses Tech Rescue 1 (TR1) at Station 22 for the county team.
